VP of Operations, Quality Dental Plan
Samantha Stephens serves as VP of Operations for Quality Dental Plan and brings with her a wealth of experience in the areas of dental practice management, practice marketing, technology, organizational psychology and general business management. Samantha previously served as CFO at Project A Inc., a technology company specializing in web development. She has also held virtually every non-clinical position in a dental office, including front desk/reception, marketing coordinator, treatment coordinator and office manager, and is an expert speaker and author in many areas of dental practice management.
Originally from Alexandria, Louisiana, Samantha relocated to Medford, Oregon after completing her undergraduate work at the University of Alabama, where she earned a degree in Human Development with an emphasis in Child Life. One of her most formative experiences was an internship on the Oncology/Hematology unit at Children’s Hospital in New Orleans counseling children undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatment.
Since that time, Samantha has dedicated much of her career to increasing access to healthcare. She is grateful that her role at Quality Dental Plan enables her to further that goal by helping to connect dentists who want to make a difference in their communities with uninsured patients who are looking for high-quality yet affordable dental care.
In her free time, Samantha enjoys biking, hiking, canyoneering, traveling and sharing new experiences with her husband, Dan. She is also an avid fitness enthusiast and possibly Southern Oregon’s only amateur gluten-free pastry chef.
